Brazil Amazon Boat Expedition

Brazilian Amazon Jungle bring you face-to-face with one of the biggest influences on the world’s fragile eco-system, the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. The import role the rainforest plays on the world’s eco-system is one of major reasons why more and more travelers are taking the adventure of a life time and going on Brazilian Amazon Jungle. Get back to nature and come into contact with one of the most amazing fauna and flora all over the world.

DAY 1 – Manaus – Arrival at Manaus and transfer to Hotel Go Inn. Dinner (not included) and overnight at Manaus.

DAY 2 – Manaus Boat Trip – At 9 am your private guide will pick-up you in your hotel. You will walk around 10 minutes to the port, it allows a first contact with the city of Manaus. We finally depart toward the Meeting of the Waters down the Negro River, then the boat travels to the region of Janauary lake to visit the home of local artisans. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, we depart by canoe to a region where we can fish piranhas. Dinner and then we get again in our canoe for a night tour searching for alligators and other nocturnal animals. Return to the boat. The boat will sail up the Rio Negro, where we will seek a place for the night.

DAY 3 – Boat Trip
Breakfast on board and continued navigation through the Rio Negro. Stop in one of the beautiful white sand beaches of Rio Negro for swimming and recreation. Sail toward the Anavilhanas archipelago, more specifically in the region of Jaraqui where we connect with this beautiful region and the small fishing village. We will return the boat for lunch. In the afternonn we will get in our motorized canoe in order to do a walk of about 2 hours where we will get explanations about the rich Amazonian fauna and flora. Great chance to see animals. The evening dinner and overnight in hammocks.

DAY 4 – Boat Trip
Sunrise at 5.30 am with a canoe ride to see birds. Return to the boat for breakfast. We continue going up the Rio Negro. The ship makes a stop in the community of Terra Preta, local with a high incidence of ethnic Indians Tucano. Interaction with the community. After the visit, return to boat for lunch. The ship will continue navigating the Rio Negro to the region of Rio Cuieiras. In this region, stopping for various activities like canoeing through the canals and streams. We return to the boat to prepare our packs for an overnight in the jungle.

DAY 5 – Boat Trip Early morning starts with a walk in the jungle to explore the region and try to see more wildlife. Return to the boat for lunch. In this afternoon canoe ride inn the flooded jungle and to see the sunset and admire the Amazonian colors. Dinner and overnight in hammocks in the boat.

DAY 6 – Boat Trip
We begin our return shipping, down the Rio Negro sttoping at the Tupé region in the left side of the Rio Negro where we will encounter an Indian tribe, they will show you more about their culture and dances. Visit te Rubber Museum. Our visit begins at a waterfront warehouse where rubber boards boats to be shipped around the world. Here we will enter the Rubber Master House whose majestic architecture shows the wealth of Brazilian rubber plantations from the industry boom and war effort. During our tour, visit the “large tent” where rubber making tools were kept. You will also see the “chapel” and the flour warehouse. Then walk along a short trail into the jungle to see rubber trees as well as witness the process of collecting it. You will see where rubber balls were placed to begin the smoking process. Finally, visit the modest houses where the rubber extraction employees lived. The home portrays the life and habits of the old rubber extraction era. We will return to Manaus with a brief stop at Tupe Beach where there might be a possibility of swimming. The arrival in Manaus would be in the end of the afternoon.

DAY 7 – Manaus
After breakfast HD Tour (optional) to visit the Opera House and departure to the Airport.
